We have been very busy at the studio so we have not posted in a while and I wanted to give you all an update.
Hurricane Sandy swept through in the end of October and we were very lucky. We lost power and Internet for about 36 hours but no other damage was done to us or our property. Our hearts go out to all who were so terribly affected by the storm and are still trying to recover and rebuild. I had many portfolio showings scheduled in CT that week and many were pushed back to November.
Our new work, especially the ‘Spirits’ images, have been very well received. I had showings at two large agencies in CT, Ryan Partnership and Colangelo, and they both went very well. A huge thanks to the people who arranged the showings and invited the creative teams. And a huge thanks to all the people who stopped in to look at my books. I am looking forward to working with both of these agencies in the near future, so many really warm and creative people there.
I also have been shooting for clients throughout October and November and will continue with several days booked in December. We are working with many long-term clients and lucky to have some new clients as well. And we are partnering with a local agency to develop some new ideas for a local client. Debbie and I really enjoy being able to partner with creative teams at the very beginning stages of a new project.
I am also continuing to show the portfolio, with 3 showings set up for December so far. Debbie has been hard at work contacting agencies and arranging meetings (except for that one week she was gone traveling to Italy, there will be a post about that soon).
Here is one of the new spirits image. Hope you enjoy!
