We have had many long shooting days in the studio over the past year. Between assignment work and building the images for the portfolio there have been very few days where I am just doing the catch-up paperwork in the office. While Debbie and I were traveling to Portsmouth a few weeks ago we went by the High Liner Foods manufacturing plant and saw some of our images blown up very large on the side of tractor trailer trucks. They looked great! We love it when we see our images on the move. We learned that High Liner has 6 trucks all featuring different images we created. They are giant traveling billboards! I believe that art informs art. As a person who makes his living creating visual art, I believe spending some time every day practicing a different form of art is very helpful to my outlook and creativity. One feeds the other in many ways. I usually start my day playing and studying music. I have been since I was 12 years old. I study one-on-one with a jazz guitarist in Portsmouth by the improbable name of Woody Allen.
Sorry about the lack of recent postings but things have been busy at the studio and beyond! I showed the book around Boston and CT in May along with continuing to shoot new images for the book and shoot assignment work. Then in June I went to New York City for a week to attend the NYC Fotoworks portfolio review. I had the opportunity to show my book to 24 Art Buyers, Photo Editors and Reps. It was a great introduction
