Last week I was busy doing some minor set building. We have been prepping to shoot some test shots with some new food stylists. We are going to be creating some beautiful new editorial food images to compliment our portfolio and our food packaging shots. We have been very busy at the studio so we have not posted in a while and I wanted to give you all an update. Hurricane Sandy swept through in the end of October and we were very lucky. We lost power and Internet for about 36 hours but no other damage was done to us or our property. I know it is now October but things have been busy since my trip to NYC in September, so I am finally getting around to posting a few photos. The trip was fantastic in many ways. First of all, I stayed with family just outside the city and it was great to have some quality time with them. Last week we had a new food client come to the studio for a shoot. This is a local client who is now creating baked goods mixes. We were lucky enough to work with Food Stylist Sunny Ricks again. Sunny was very busy mixing and baking and decorating in the studio kitchen. The studio smelled pretty awesome all day! We have had many long shooting days in the studio over the past year. Between assignment work and building the images for the portfolio there have been very few days where I am just doing the catch-up paperwork in the office.
