noun an instance of resuming an activity or state after an interruption. Renewal happens yearly with a rebirth each Spring. It's pretty amazing! Nature takes a look at the blank canvas and begins again with big brush strokes, making its mark on the world. In some ways, it is very similar to all of us coming out of the global pandemic, getting a chance to re-engage, make our mark and begin
Each shoot day, I'm presented with a new challenge - no matter what I need to shoot. Products, Food, Jewelry, Shoes, People.........you throw it at me and I figure it out. Problem solver is my daily "who I am." Creative guy is what I'd prefer as first on my list, but isn't always top due to the over-arching need of "what does the client want?" With this challenge above, it was a little bit of both and that challenge
Who knew how important color choice can be to the impact of a job? Well, of course Nick knew! That's what he does and does best. High impact. Take a basic product and will it grab people automatically? Probably not. Yet, if you study it long enough, find a complimentary angle, think about some pretty incredible high contrast lighting and pop some major color in ............... BAM! You've got a shot! Got your

Here is the latest mailing card that we created and sent out. We are designing new pairings based on the many images we have shot over the past few years. This gives us some space to play and we are excited about the two new images we are busy developing. We have done lots of testing and are ready to move on to final shooting. We can't wait to share our new work with you all.
Hope everyone had a safe and fabulous Independence Day weekend. We got a lot of rest and enjoyed the beautiful weather here with a few walks on the beach. And this week we find ourselves in our 7th week of being booked at least 4 days out of 5. While this often means

We have sent it out as an email to our database and received quite a few reply's from clients who love the image. Can you tell we are ready for summer?
A few weeks ago Debbie, Sophia and I took a trip into Boston to go to the Museum of Fine Art. Our wonderful consultant Selina gave us a membership this year and we have been excited about this great excuse to have a nice day out. Our daughter Sophia has been the one pushing the most, asking every weekend if THIS could be the weekend we go in to the museum. My favorite exhibit was the Samurai. The amount of detail that
We have just wrapped up a great 3 day food packaging project. I put the finishing touches on the images this morning and sent them off. I also photographed the products in their frozen state for the art director to use in layouts. First thing this morning we got an email from the client saying, "This was a challenging shoot but I was pleased to see the sustained energy and willingness to keep pushing forward with
